The Stop Online Piracy Act and the Protect IP Act have been created in an effort to stop online piracy and protect copyright laws. Why is everyone in such a huff over something that is obviously a good thing? Because of how these two acts can be used against legitimate websites we love (like Tumblr) and how it could completely change the internet as we know it.
